PennLive: Thanks to election officials and poll workers for a smooth primary
“Pennsylvania’s primary election confirmed what we already know — that our elections are safe and secure, featuring tried-and-tested systems that are proven to protect the vote and ensure accuracy in the results,” according to Pennsylvania Voice, which manages Keystone Votes, a SecureVotePA partner.
In a letter to the editor to PennLive/The Patriot-News, the organization notes that Pennsylvania’s primary ran smoothly thanks to the tireless efforts of local election officials and poll workers who put in long hours before, during and after Election Day. It takes tens of thousands of everyday Pennsylvanians — people from both parties — to administer elections.
With the general election just a few months away, voters can look to the primary and be confident in how our elections are run, the organization writes.
