PODCAST: Election Directors Explain Why Nov. 5 Will Be Safe, Secure, Accurate & Fair

Mercer County Election Director Thad Hall and former Dauphin County Elections Director Jerry Feaser want voters to know that Pennsylvania’s elections are safe, secure, accurate and fair. Between them, they have decades of experience behind the scenes managing the tried-and-tested systems that protect your vote and ensure accuracy in the results.
Before coming to Pennsylvania, Hall previously ran elections in Arizona and South Carolina. He also worked on voter access and administration issues as a researcher for the Federal Voting Assistance Program and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, among other state and federal organizations.
Feaser served for 10 years as Dauphin County Election Director before retiring last year and leading a highly praised and successful transition of that office, and he continues his work to educate voters about how Pennsylvania’s elections work.
They recently spoke with Broad+Liberty to help voters understand the many checks and balances in place that safeguard elections and offered a preview of what voters can expect when they head to the polls on Nov. 5.
